As many of you already know, we are completing the renovation
of the Lodge Room upstairs at the moment. At our regular
communication in November, the craft voted to purchase new
chairs for the Lodge room.
So that the Lodge won't have to cover so large of an expense.
We are offering to anyone who donates $125 towards the chairs
to have his / her name placed on a chair.
The Chairs will look similar to the one shown above, however the
color may not be red. We will have nice hardwood armrests and
decorative end pieces which will cover the last chair of the row.

The current configuration of chairs upstairs has 87 total chairs, we expect to have at least
as many new chairs. In an effort to be fair to everyone who would like to contribute to this
project, our Project Chairmen Brother Robert Foulds, is taking the names and orders for the
chairs in a first come first serve basis. Once all of the chairs are sold he will stop taking
orders.
But like I said we are trying to be as fair as possible. Many have expressed an interest in
being able to purchase a certain chair position in the Lodge Room. While we understand
that purchasing that favorite chair that your Grandfather sat in so many years ago would be
a precious memento, it would eventually leave someone out, or someone on the north side
or on the back row or behind a door, etc.. Our remedy for this situation is going to be a
lottery type drawing held at the Annual Banquet on December 14th, 2007.
Each chair will be given a position number and names will be pulled from a hat for that
individual chair. Also we know that many want to include "In Memory Of" or "In Honor Of"
or other special text on the chair. We plan on doing everything in our power to
accommodate those wishes. At this time however we are not precisely sure of how large the
plaques will be, where they may be placed, or how much text will fit on them. When you fill
out your order form make sure that you include your name and phone number so that we
can call you.
As more details become available we will keep them posted here. We also hope to be able
to take orders via a credit card right here on the web site.
